Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the CBS Clutch & Brake Specialists website (“Site”) and our online booking service. By using the Site you agree to these terms. CBS is part of the Motus Group.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with the Site, its security, or any other user's use of the Site.

2. Online bookings

• A submitted booking is a request, not a confirmation. A CBS branch will confirm availability, date, and time.
• Quotations are provided in writing before any chargeable work begins.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of vehicle and contact details supplied.
• Cancellations should be made by contacting your selected branch as soon as possible.

3. Workmanship and parts

All workmanship is covered by the CBS guarantee set out on the Guarantee page. Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty applicable to that part. Misuse, abuse, racing, off-road use, or modification may void coverage.

4. Pricing

Indicative pricing on the Site is for guidance only and may vary by vehicle, branch, and parts availability. A formal written quotation will be provided before work begins.

5. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review or message via the Site, you confirm it is your own genuine opinion and does not include unlawful, defamatory, or offensive content. We may moderate, edit, or remove user content at our discretion.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites (e.g. Motus Group policies, partner brands). CBS is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. Intellectual property

The CBS name, logo, content, and design are the property of CBS or the Motus Group and may not be copied or reused without written permission, except for normal browsing of the Site.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, CBS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
